Regional Head - Hotel Contracting

Responsibilities

- Head the Hotel Contracting team for South India.

- Ownership and accountability for specific Hotel contracting targets in your assigned territory.

- Ownership and accountability for overall region's transaction performance such as total bookings, sales and revenue targets.

- Develop and maintain regular and consistent partner contact at the property level and, when appropriate, with chain level regional managers. The Market Manager should strive to build strong relationships with all partners and have regular contact with each of them.

- Support partners in managing inventory and rates

- Analyze contracts, rate and inventory reports to gain in-depth understanding of partners in assigned markets. Monitor partner performance. Secure and negotiate competitive rates and inventory to meet room night and other targets, including peak periods.

- Understand high/low occupancy periods for all assigned markets. Create and maintain calendars for key events and develop/execute plans for meeting market demand.

- Monitor and analyze weekly sales reports to track progress and performance of partners and markets including and address any problems or concerns.

- Partner with Hotel Operations departments to address content-related or technical issues.

- Participate in regular supplier/partner contract and performance meetings as necessary and provides destination, product, marketing and operational expertise to enhance supplier/partner relationships and ensure overall region needs are being met.

Requirements

- Solid experience in hotel sales, revenue and/or Hotel Contracting

- Knowledge of travel industry and booking channels essential.

- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.

- Excellent communication skills- both one on one and in larger group situations.

Must know any one of regional languages of South India (Tamil / Telgu/ Malayalam / Kannada)

Salary up to 24 Lacs CTC + Variable
