Our client is a service based company,an independent company.It has become the world leader in Quality of Life services.It ranges from fodservices to construction management, reception services to the maintenance of scanners and laboratory equipment, technical maintenance to leisure cruises, and housekeeping to rehabilitation services at correctional facilities... It provides clients with a wide array of on-site services.

Designation: Regional Head

Reports To: Vice President

Span of Control: South India

Location: Alwarthirunagar, Chennai

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the overall organic growth and profitability of the Operations in a region as well as coordinate with the sales team to develop and audit new prospects for aggressive growth.

Job Responsibilities

Food Operations

- Ensure that all the service deliveries are carried out as per the terms and conditions agreed upon the client

- Initiate development of new menus, upgrade old menus and special event menus

- Develop new ideas for promotions, festivals and other special events

- Ensure that safety and hygiene policy is strictly followed at each site within the region

- Carry out operational audits to check for confirmation to laid down processes and policies

Organic Growth & Profitability

- Ensure organic growth of sales and sites in the region by developing and promoting service excellence, retails offers and value added offers, by collaborating with all service offering functions

- Sustain and build the profitability of each site in the region through timely analysis of reports and provide solutions to counter any discrepancies

- Apprise the management of any serious reversal or threat to the operations on time

- Meet the sales and profit targets of each site in the state Debtors Management

- Ensure that the data required for the raising of invoices is sent to the accounts department on time

- Strictly enforce timely collection of the invoiced amounts from the clients as per the agreed terms and conditions

- Keep track of all the invoices within each site in the region and achieve the targeted DSO month over month Manpower Management and Training

- Promote a healthy and team work oriented atmosphere within each site in the region

- Prepare a manpower budget as per the growth in the operations of the region

- Identify the training needs of his team and assist in the development of modules to address the same - Ensure that all the sites are at their optimum staff strength

- Ensure that all the HR processes and staff welfare activities are implemented and carried out in his region

Communication & Client Retention

- Stay in close communication with the client for all issues regarding services additional business, new initiatives and hygiene and prepare documents of the same

- Understand and exceed the expectations of the client in order to ensure complete satisfaction

- Ensure 100% client retention

- Timely addressal of all issues with pertaining to the client and the operations, with a friendly & flexible approach Cost Management

- Coordinate with the purchase department to understand and forecast the cost trends and revisions

- Develop suitable operational strategies to address increase in costs

- Analyse the operational cost centre’s and provide solutions to increase the efficiencies within each site in the region

Legal Compliances

- Coordinate with the HR, QHSE and legal departments to ensure that all the legal compliances are met with and a copy of the same is maintained at each site Systems Implementation and process Management

- Ensure that all the systems and processes are implemented and followed as per the company policy

- Responsible for following up on the effectiveness of each process and provide details on alterations to be made to the same

- Ensure the ERP processes are implemented on a timely manner with utmost qualitative and disciplined focus in all business sites

QMHSE and H&FS

- Responsible for co-ordination with the QMHSE and H&FS teams to implement the policy and process

- Ensure that all incidents pertaining to QMHSE and H& FS are reported to the concerned teams on time

- Operational ownership of all QMHSE and H&FS processes

- Timely Communication of all possible on site hazards to the concerned department Contract Renegotiation and Rate Renewal.

- Responsible for the timely renegotiation of the existing contracts along with rate renewals as per company laid down processes
