Job Title - Regional Head Business Development - Trade Finance / LC discounting - Supply Chain

Job Overview :

To manage and complete handling of the region and Responsible for Revenue Relationship Management and accounts Management for the Fintech Division

Job Role :

Business Development Strategy:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive regional BD strategy covering major industrial clusters to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets.

2. Oversee direct BD efforts, including client prospecting, relationship-building, and deal closures.

3. Support and guide digital sales and channel partner teams to maximize their effectiveness.

4. Following up on the collections.

Customer Acquisition:

1. Identify and target potential clients, understanding their trade finance needs and offering tailored solutions.

2. Source 50+ leads every month through direct and team efforts. Conversion of 10+ leads every month through the identified ecosystem

3. Develop and manage a good network of corporate customers, bankers, rating agencies, etc.

4. Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract new customers.

Team Leadership:

1. Recruit, train, and manage a team of two professionals under your supervision as per Business Volumes.

2. Provide leadership and guidance to your team, setting clear targets and performance expectations.

3. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Regional Management:

1. Manage all trade finance activities in your designated region.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and risk management.

3. Identify market trends and opportunities to tailor services and strategies to local needs.

Performance Reporting:

1. Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to CEO management.

2. Develop and implement improvement plans as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Skills / Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus)

2. Proven experience in trade finance, financial services, or a related industry, with at least 12-15 years of experience in a team leadership role

3. Strong understanding of Working Capital, B2B Selling, Import trade finance products, processes, and industry regulations and Raw Material (As per List)

4. Good experience in strategic planning, implementation of strategies to increase sales and bottom-line profit, business unit development and identifying deficiencies and potential opportunities in the market space.

5. Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue goals.

6. Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills/ Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business environment. Entrepreneurial Mindset.
