Company Profile:

We have vacancy for Regional Head/AVP-Sales (North India) based in Delhi for our clients who are a professionally managed NBFC organisation. The position directly reports to the CFO. The organisation is a non-deposit taking and non-systemically important NBFC registered with RBI. They have identified a niche in the lending business targeting small and medium sized retailers who find it difficult to get financed by traditional financial institutions. The loan offering is quite unique in terms of its parameters such as monetisation of future cash flows from payment cards swiped on Point-of-Sale terminal, flexibility in repayment, and partnership spirit.

It is a one-of-the-kind offering and will create a separate industry in the country. They have developed a specialised technology platform to cater to our special product. They also have CIBIL membership and access to consumer as well as commercial credit data. The company is driven by innovation, technology and entrepreneurial spirit in each sphere. The company has launched its business operations in Mumbai with plans to establish presence all across India over the next three years.

By then, they plan to have an asset base of Rs 1,000 Cr and 500 employees.

The company intends to develop a business framework which would not only encompass traditional lending segment but also have a strong customer relationship program. The development of this framework will lead to engagement programs which would be customised for merchants and hence have a relation which would be independent of the loan. This is expected to be a unique feature in the product bouquet and lead to opportunities in having a very strong fee based presence in the financials.

The company operates out of its head office in Mumbai. The company has been set up by two entrepreneurs who had earlier set up a leading transaction processing Infrastructure Company for card-based payments that grew into the market leader. They sold it to one of the biggest IT companies in the world in 2010.

Job Profile:

Regional Sales Head-North India: The incumbent will head the North Indian operations and lead a team of over 25#.

Responsibilities expected from the role include:

- To grow the retail loan business and achieve the targeted loan book size.

- To increase the productivity in terms of value and number of loan disbursals as a team.

- To optimize the cost of merchant acquisition per disbursal.

- To increase the income from each merchant acquisition.

- Identifying, Recruiting and Driving channel partners & DSTs on a continuous basis to ensure continuing sales growth.

- Responsible for generating business through DSAs/DSTs.

- Should have direct experience in working out & negotiating commercial agreements.

- Ensuring basic business quality parameters such as TAT, Lead Management etc maintained by the team

- Ensuring basic Sales Process in the team by imparting continuous Product and Process training for the front end team, setting individual Sales Target and Monitoring regular productivity etc

- Recruitment and Training of FOS,

- Experience in designing incentive plans, motivational programmes and engagement activities.

- Accountable for the profitability of the channel and productivity of team members

- Exposure to fraud prevention and detection

- Coordinating with collection department in ensuring portfolio quality levels are adhered to.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduates (with 10 -15 years experience) or MBAs (aged 30-35 with 8-12 years experience).

- Must have at least 7 years experience in NBFCs/ Banks handling Sales through multiple channels and lending to retailers, merchants and small business enterprises.

- Must have 5 -7 years of retail loan selling expeience. Must be currently handling a team of at least 10#
