Job Description
Job Title : Regional Finance Manager
Reporting : Manager-Region Head
Function : Finance / Domestic Sales (CSD-Canteen Store Department)
Location : Mumbai (Candidate willing to relocate can also apply)
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Reporting, Control of receivables, Planning, Internal Control and Business support for the CSD region across India. CSD – Canteen Stores Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring proper accounting and maintenance of books and records for the region
- Monitoring customers receivables for the region and ensuring effective credit control
- Finalization, statutory & internal audit for region books of account.
- Effective value add to the business by regular analysis
- Ensuring existence of adequate internal controls
- Ensuring compliance on Sales Tax and TDS/TCS
- Managing GAAP, Statutory and Tax audits for the region
- Preparation of annual plan, monitoring and explaining variances
- Work as key business support to drive profitability of the region
EXTERNALLY (mention role):
- CSD controlling office
- Local sales tax authorities
- Internal & Statutory auditors
- Excise & other statutory authorities
PROFILE DETAILS
QUALIFICATION:
- Should have CA passed out from 2007-08 or 2008-09 batch.
- CA with 3+ yrs of experience preferably with an MNC/New generation Indian company in FMCG / Consumer durables / similar set-up.
- EXPERIENCE (Please specify in case there are any preferred industries):
- Minimum 2 years of Sales Accounting experience is essential, preferably if he has handled branch independently
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS (Both essential & desirable):
- Well versed with Excel and Power point.
- Basic operational knowledge on ERP will be preferred
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS (Both essential & desirable):
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good at coordination and multitasking
- Self starter
- Good team player with business acumen and leadership skills
