Regional Finance Controller - Manufacturing

We have an opportunity for Regional Finance Controller with one of our MNC manufacturing client.

Location: Bangalore/Kolkata

Position: Regional Finance Controller

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for overall management of accounting and finance activates and for accurate reporting of financial data of the respective region

- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the region

- Validation of Onsite customer billing as applicable

- Monthly closing of books of accounts and preparation of variance analysis and balance sheet schedules

- Monitoring and analysing financial performance of the region and produce financial reports or statements to the regional business managers and planning team

- Support business in business development through investment evaluation

- Participation in special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned

- Assist in Maintenance of fixed assets register and project accounting

- Support the internal and external audit process

Required key skills (functional/technical):

- In depth understanding of Accounting Standards (National / International)

- In depth knowledge of financial management and methods of investment evaluation

- Understanding of commercial best practices including Taxation, etc

- Understanding of reporting systems / platforms (SAP modules)

- Planning, Organising, Time Management

- Assertiveness

- Regularly interacts with subordinates and middle management

Required qualifications/experience :

- Chartered Accountant/ MBA in Finance

- 3-7 Years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts and Treasury.

- Accounting and Treasury experience mandatory.
