Description

Based out of Delhi & reporting in to the country head & the functionally to global stakeholders, the role involves:

- Taking care of end to end accounting for the region via both USGAAP & IGAAP. This shall include oversight in preparation and finalization of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statements, consolidations and reconciliations

- Take care of the entire taxation (both direct & indirect) responsibilities for the region

- Implement & strengthen existing internal controls, systems and processes

- Take care of the entire audit & compliance activities, including SOX

- Lead & mentor the finance team in the region, resulting in the development of future leaders

- Participate in business related activities and provide strategic business partnership to the respective business heads

Profile

- You will be a young chartered accountant with between 5 to 10 years of post qualification experience, most of which will be ideally coming in from a small to medium sized enterprise, taking care of end to end finance & accounts responsibilities. Candidates who began their careers in the assurance practice of top audit firms will be preferred. You will be proficient in handling accounting, taxation, audits, FP&A among other things.

- In addition to this you will have excellent communication & presentation skills along with a proven track record in managing / developing a team. You will also have strong commercial acumen and willingness to travel (both internationally & domestically)
