Regional Distribution Incharge - FMCG

Position Title : Regional Distribution Incharge

Reports to : National Manager - Physical Distribution

Position Summary :

Regional Distribution incharge is a position handling the Overall Customer service & Logistics Secondary Transportation and DC operations for the entire region reporting to National Manager Distribution.

The position is responsible for ensuring the distribution to customer and optimizes cost and service both to the company. Understands and utilizes structured and scientific approach to drive systematic improvements in collaborative planning. He is responsible to manage, communicate and deliver the KPI's as per the organizational requirements.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Daily monitoring of Pending orders and ensuring the service level as per given KPI

- Organizing, monitoring and utilizing dedicated fleets as required by the Distribution center.

- Monitoring the KPI's of fleets/DCs with respect to compliances and quality requirements.

- Monitoring of stock movements(FEFO management) & ensure minimal stock outs at customer end (ensure timely delivery) and also ensure timely communication with stakeholders.

- Own the Freight & Storage cost budget for the region. Explore and execute cost effective innovative ideas.

- Develop, coach and help execute the Permanent Dispatch Plan and also measure adherence.

- Drive the Bottoms-Up forecasting process for the region.

- Timely preparation and submission of reports.
