Regional Director - Valuation - Investment Bank

A well established Investment Bank in India is currently recruiting for an experienced valuations professional to join their existing team and grow it further

- This is a key role with a focus to perform price testing, provision calculation and Structured Trade Reviews (STR) for a wide and expanding range of the bank's trading positions across all business clusters and regions globally.

- The role reports into the Global Head of Valuation and the local Product Control site head.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- The independent validation of the more complex, structured trades.

- Driving, evaluating and integrating new testing processes and procedures from a variety of sources into this centralized specialized team

- Management and oversight of a team of approx. 50 people with responsibility for Structured Trade Reviews, month end and intra-month independent price verification and on-going deployment efforts.

- Liaison with senior Product Control management on specific trade and valuation issues and on-going deployment efforts.

- Building and maintaining relationship will all internal client an all regions expected to work closely with senior management, Traders, Market

Risk, Model Risk and Quant teams.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified masters or PhD degree with at least +12 years of Independent price verification or Structured Deal Review processes.

- Strong understanding of structured products

- Good knowledge of quantitative concepts applied to financial products.
