Regional Director - Design - Architectural Interior Design -Bangalore

Job Summary:

Play a leadership role in the creation and implementation of creative, professional office space, designs through conceptual design, detailed design development and management, with the goal of establishing and maintaining client relationships, creating winning designs and maximizing job profit.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relations:

- Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives

- Lead design efforts through all phases of Workplace interior projects including guiding, advising, and mentoring other designers on projects, developing design directions and solutions, and lead design critiques/forums

- Partner with client solutions team in identifying and approaching potential clients

- Interact directly with the client at proposal stage to understand their requirements, evaluate the attractiveness of the project and help develop the marketing and proposal strategy

- Manage the planning and design concept for the marketing proposal

- Sell adrianse to the client through professional presentation of proposed design and by demonstrating a high level of customer service and design/build knowledge.

- Build and sustain client relationships; act as the primary design interface with clients, team members, and a wide range of consultants and collaborators, both internal and external

- Conceptualization, development & management of Design

- Leading design efforts through all phases of Workplace interior projects including guiding, advising, and mentoring other designers on projects, developing design directions and solutions, and leading design critiques/forums

- Develop detailed programming on functional space planning and facilities provision

- Review and finalise layout planning

- Monitor the overall quality of the finished product through coordination with the Projects team to ensure actual product is according to the specification and detailed drawings

- Coordinate and review design and construction progress with client throughout

- Maximising job profit

- Participate in business development and marketing efforts

- Review budget estimate with project manager to confirm costs match with intended design and fit client's budgetary expectations

- Assist in follow up for collection of outstanding payments

- Staff Development and Mentoring

- Coach designers to help them develop their creativity and support the design intent of the project.

- Groom successors/leadership pipeline to develop talent from within.
