As the Regional Credit Manager for SME Supply Chain Finance at [NBFC Name], you will be responsible for managing the credit risk associated with the Supply Chain Finance product offered to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). You will play a critical role in evaluating the creditworthiness of SME clients, ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures, and optimizing the credit decision-making process within the region.

-Credit Risk Assessment:-

- Conduct thorough credit assessments of SME clients applying for Supply Chain Finance facilities.

- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, credit histories, and other relevant information to evaluate creditworthiness.

- Assess industry risks, market conditions, and macroeconomic factors impacting SME clients.

- Credit Policy Adherence:

- Ensure compliance with the credit policies and procedures set forth by the organization.

- Review and update credit policies as necessary to mitigate risks and align with regulatory requirements.

Decision Making:-

- Make informed credit decisions within delegated authority, balancing risk and business objectives.

- Present credit proposals to the Credit Committee for approval when necessary, providing comprehensive analysis and recommendations.

Portfolio Management:-

- Monitor the performance of the Supply Chain Finance portfolio within the region.

- Identify early warning signals and proactively manage credit exposures to mitigate potential losses.

- Work closely with relationship managers and sales teams to monitor client relationships and address credit concerns.

Relationship Management:-

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, operations, and risk management teams to streamline credit processes and enhance customer experience.

- Build and maintain relationships with SME clients, providing guidance on credit requirements and facilitating solutions to meet their financing needs.

Reporting and Analysis:-

- Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, delinquencies, and trends for management review.

- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and stress testing to assess credit quality and identify areas for improvement.

Regulatory Compliance:-

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and guidelines governing SME lending and Supply Chain Finance activities.

- Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices.
