Main purpose of role:
Finance business partner for the commercial sales team on the bidding process and working with regional CFO on the approval of large bids as defined in the regional delegation of authority.
Regional lead for the investment appraisal process (supporting businesses with business cases, investment papers and post implementation reviews)help achieve growth.
Finance Lead for regional restructuring & dispositions.
Core Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Support Regional CFO to critically evaluate business opportunities and large bids.
- Finance lead for contract costing, pricing, financial analysis.
- Country support for business case proposals for Regional and Group Investment Committee approval.
- Support AME Exec on strategic and commercial decisions.
- Participating internal pre-tender strategy meetings where necessary.
- Business partner with Country Sales and Commercial teams and support commercial negotiations as appropriate.
- Attend Client/Prospect-facing meetings to understand their demands and needs.
- Review and analysis of financial and management information.
- Developing and implementing investment processes to be rolled out globally
- Manage relationships with a wide range of Stakeholders internally and externally.

Job Skills, Competencies, and Personal Qualities
Mandatory - Professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent
- Prior experience in lead finance role
- A demonstrated ability to work across borders, diverse cultural environments, and time zones
- Proven ability to inspire, lead, and manage teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to win the respect and trust of colleagues and customers
- Self motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Highly organised with an excellent ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
- A team player with a willingness to operate in a spirit of partnership and collaboration
Preferable
