Our client is a global brand and Fortune 500 company, headquartered in the US with a strong presence across 130+ countries. An innovator in its domain, they work as experts in trading, manufacturing and additionally own a large financial arm. They are looking at recruiting a Regional Category Manager for their South Asia Market, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting to the Head - Plant Materials & Services, you will be responsible for:

- Sourcing and procurement across all engineering( design), construction and maintenance services in the APAC region

- Process development and execution of the category by driving project implementation and driving compliance

- Formulating the sourcing strategies along with empaneling, negotiating and maintaining healthy relationships with both local and global vendors

- Leading a team of individuals and be responsible for their growth and development

- Working closely with global stakeholders & cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of operations

Profile

You will be an Engineer and/or MBA with more than 10 years of experience in sourcing and procurement across design and construction services preferably with an additional global exposure. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a process orientation and structured thought process who is proactive towards his/her work.
