Manage sales activities including organizing, developing and maintaining a region capable of achieving the Company's sales objectives, under the supervision of the National Sales Manager.

Location : Delhi/North

Reporting: Head Sales

Turnover : 30 Crores

Headcount supervised :

-  District Sales Managers:4 - 7

- TBEs: Each DSM has 4 to 6 TBE reportees

Profile

Requirements Technical Skills :

Education/Training :

-  Professional Graduation in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce & Arts with good communication skills.

Work Experience :

-  8 years continuous experience in sales with a minimum of 6 years in pharmaceutical industry

- 4 years minimum continuous experience in field management

- Experience in Dermatology will be a preference.

Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position :

- Proficiency with MS Office in an NT/Windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software

 Reasoning abilities :

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Develops, implements and establishes action plans to enable the Region/Zone to achieve agreed regional sales objectives;

- Sets and monitor regional performance goals to achieve sales forecasts

- Manages District sales managers and DSRs team, in accordance with Internal HR policies and applicable laws and with ongoing supervision from the National Sales Manager, including interviewing, hiring, training, motivating, developing, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Dealing with market coverage,

- Establishing budgets

-  Reviewing promotional programs and activity reports ;

- Supervises all aspects of field sales activities through District Sales Managers, including :

- Establishing customer prioritization plans

- Conducting sales and plan of action (POA) meetings

- Feld testing and evaluating marketing programs

- Editing and reviewing training programs

- Analyzing sales by products and total sales 

- Coordinates liaison between region and other in-house departments such as Marketing, Finance or Human Resources to develop sales programs and promotions for company products ;

- Analyzes and controls expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements;

- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion;

- Monitors and evaluates competitors- activities and products;
