Base Job Location - Chennai The job description is given below for your reference : AREAS OF EXPERTISE Retail Operations - Deriving and actualizing the monthly business plan in line with agreed revenue and profitability targets. - Formulating SOPs for Front-/ Back-end operations. - In the event of New-Store Launches/cities, improvement of project management effectiveness and efficiency. - Devise promotional plans and effective pricing strategies, product mix in line with customer preferences, consequently leading to improved sales. - Formulating Store budgets (Capital/ Revenue). Material Planning - Enabling superior purchase management principles through finely-tuned purchasing plans mated to organizational goals and objectives - Vendor liaison to ensure OTIF, setting mutual KPIs, negotiating landed costs, delivering timely services and ensuring QoS - Inventory Optimization through Stock and Movement analyses. Supply Chain Management - Overseeing warehouse management including day-to-day functions. - Responsible for overall Productivity of the facility &amp; internal customer satisfaction, through a concerted combination of cost and throughput efficiencies - Responsible for continuous improvements in warehouse and transportation management, through the application of logistical best practices such as LEAN and JIT principles. - Managing packaging, distribution network/supply chain for distributing goods from warehouse to the stores with achievement of targets within specified parameters. Systems Implementation/ Process Management - Map &amp; identify application white spaces against the coverage of essential business process - This is a Leadership role to redesign and scale Chennai city operations of the company - Responsible for the entire P&amp;L of the Regions with an annual turnover of around Rs. 100+ crores and handling a work force of around 2500 direct and indirect employees - EBITDA improvisation, formulating financial strategies and budgets after detailed analysis of region - Ensure collaborative working between DC operations, Buying team, Tech team and supply chain to execute all orders as per SLA and with minimum deviations - Ensure the working capital, stock management, stock downturn is done as per the budgeted plans and any gaps in the same are handled and resolved on priority. - Incharge for formulation of plannogram as per DMS. - Work closely with Marketing team to develope and execute marketing strategy to increase orders and develope special offers for target groups. - Mentor and guide team members, enable to foster a culture of high energy, customer focused work culture and optimize manhours. - Ensure process and system compliances, adherence to established norms and thereby maintain and enhance operational efficiency.
