Role title : Regional Business Head - B2B eCommerce Startup

The role of Regional Business Head is for a fast growing B2B ecommerce start up specializing in B2B procurement of industrial products. The founder is an ex Google and the company has talent from employers like Amazon, Snapdeal and other revolutionary technology companies. The business model of the company got further validation when Mr. Ratan Tata picked up a stake in it. The funds are being used to enhance the technology platform, build a deep supplier base as well as increase marketing spends across Asia.

Responsibilities for the Regional Business Head :

- Strategize business development to enable technology led procurement in the allocated territory.

- Research, Plan, execute and monitor the sales operations to achieve the targets for the zone and expedite the growth

- Smooth operations with strategic partners to attain the desired outcomes

- Ensuring on Time and quality Deliveries

- Building the business and accelerating the expansion on the assigned territories.

- Developing a team of sales, business, filed executives and mentoring them for the desired results.

- Planning and supporting various pre-sales and sale activities to ensure the desired sales pipeline.

- Taking accountability of the Profit and Loss for the designated zones.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- MBA from premium institute along with B.Tech is a must.

- Proven experience in developing sales channels and revenue generation.

- Key Account Management for a Sales function in a Manufacturing / Auto / Industrial Product company, will be an added advantage

- Experience in Team development and managing

- Start-up enthusiast with an entrepreneurial streak is desired.

- Ability to own the success and failures.

- Must be a native / resident of Tamilnadu with a fluency in speaking Tamil for Chennai Location

- For Pune location, fluency in Marathi Language with a detailed understanding of Maharashtra's geography is desired.
