We are looking for a QHSE head to lead the solar projects & sites. Should have good experience in Quality and HSE management. Good understanding of Solar projects. Job Description : - Identify & implement the key performance indicators for tracking QHSE performance and report the performance to the management. - Setup a system for QHSE governance and conduct periodic reviews with all sites. - Develop, implement and run comprehensive QEHS audit programs in partnership with Sites, Conduct QEHS audits, inspections, meetings and ensure compliance to agreed actions. - Participate for successful completion of customer and statutory audits. - Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis and implement controls to prevent recurrence - Provide leadership and guidance to sites for the Environmental Affairs, Design for Safety & Environment including people, data, budgetary responsibilities, and future requirements for expansions. - Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company, Lead the QHSE team. - Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting improvements. - Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements. - Develop company and contractual requirements and good industry practices. - Liaise with Customers and Supply Chain regarding QHSE matters, ensuring their expectations are met. - Responsible for Company's QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company maintains its accreditations to ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015, ISO 45001-2018. - Manage ESG information for the organization's activities. - Present QHSE-MIS to the top management and monitor for continuous progress. - To conduct Internal & External safety Audits for the Hazards identification & risk assessment. - Responsible for developing & Implementation of systems for EHS Management as per ISO-14001 & OHSAS 18001 Standards. - To ensure Hazards identification through daily & periodical SAFETY COMMITTEE audits & reviewing and devising corrective measures for effective control. Desired Profile : - B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. MBA in Environment and Sustainability (preferred) - Candidates from the solar industry Preferred with good experience in quality and HSE. - Need to have an excellent understanding of the Solar industry, solar projects, site management. - Should have sound knowledge and understanding of QEHS regulations in India, global best practices in asset protection, waste management including working of ETP and waste management facilities, remediation, pollution control including the equipment/ infrastructure involved. - Leadership traits, Excellent presentation, organization and communication skills - Ability to establish and maintain key relationships with external and internal business stakeholders. - Demonstrate QHSE leadership in speech, decisions and actions by 'walking the talk' - Ability to implement projects from conceptualization to execution
