Director of Engineering (8-15 Years exp in eCommerce/ Product development/ Software product architecture)

Redstone Learning is a fast-growing online education company of Indian-origin with a global presence. It is a startup with positive cashflow, profitability and growing at 100% per year.

As part of the current expansion plans, the start-up is looking to strengthen its web/app based platform as well as automate processes for higher operational efficiency.

Responsibilities :

This role will be responsible for leading the development of the entire technology platform and keep it aligned with the business model, system architecture, UX and economic feasibility.

- Responsible for the entire technology stack of the business

- Responsible for managing the entire front end and back end operations of the technology involved across the organization.

- Would be developing/exploring new technology avenues

- Maintaining the overall budget for the department

Key Competencies :

- Strong technologist with an ability to align technical design with business vision

- Currently relevant architectural and coding skills

- Experience in eCommerce and Mobile domains

- Experience in LAMP and/or MEAN stack

- Excellent command over server-side and API development

- Experience in Node.js, Angular.js and MongoDB is an added plus

- Should love experimenting and adopting new technologies.

- Should be a natural team leader and be able to lead from the front

Qualification & Requirements :

- B.Tech from IIT or NIT

- People with experience in Product development / Architecture for reputed internet companies like Google /Facebook /Microsoft /Adobe /Amazon /Flipkart etc are welcome!

- History of high-end systems built, or patents co-owned would be preferred
