Head - Financial Reporting & Auditing Job Purpose : Redington Group has embarked on a journey to creating a finance center of excellence, which shall provide P2P, O2C and Record to Report functions to all Entities of the Redington group. The key function of the COE is to create highly efficient and automated process and act as a single point of contact to all business owners, other corporate functions and auditors for all finance operations. Head of COE will lead the function and transition/consolidate the operations under the COE and create the necessary operating frameworks for end to end responsibility from general accounting to getting the audit completed for all entities of Redington Group. The incumbent will also liaise with Auditors, Business Finance, Taxation, Secretarial, Compliance, Legal and other teams in ensuring that the financial accounting and reporting for all entities in scope is completed on time and accurately. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the function and a team of 100 + accountants, financial reporting and MIS experts and set functional and team goals. - Transitioning and consolidating the finance operations across the group into the COE in a timely and structured manner. - Manage all accounting operations including General accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable. - Review the Preparation and audit of standalone and consolidated financial reporting for Redington entities globally. - Reviewing the monthly close and financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information - Preparation of MIS and performance reports as key inputs to QBRs, Board meetings and other key analytical reports. - Review of the statutory and regulatory compliances and set up processes for strict adherence. - Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements - Support month end and year end closing process - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Desired Profile : - Chartered Accountant - 17+ years of experience in finance operations and financial reporting of which at least 5 years in a leadership position. - Complete Understanding of financial reporting, consolidation processes and good working knowledge of the relevant IFRS/accounting standards and audit procedures and corporate laws. - Experience in a captive shared services or Finance BPO would be added advantage. - Should have experience in handling large teams with senior leaders as direct reports. - Expertise in monitoring overall functioning of financial processes, identifying improvement areas, leading team members and implementing adequate measures to maximize Customer Satisfaction Level - Proficient in driving process improvements including automation and utilization of accounting software. - Should have working knowledge of SAP FICO.
