Rediff.com is looking for an experienced Engineer for Data Science/Data Mining Team in Mumbai. If you love solving computer science challenges, enjoy coding and working with large complex data systems, then this is the job for you.

We need professionals who have flair and background building mathematical models and engineering skills to deploy to production. We use models to increase business process efficiencies and improve responsiveness to our customers and business partners - end consumers, advertisers, e-commerce merchants, customer support & logistics partners and payment processors.

We have platforms for large scale data mining and retrieval, evolved over a period of time with open source and our proprietary technologies. The prospective candidate would be expecte to possess programming skills, preferably in both Python and Java, to enhance and modify the platforms as needed to build and run the large scale models in real-time.

Professional background :

Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science with Mathematics as an elective, will be needed.
