Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain catastrophe models for quantifying peril risk.

- Work across all model components (exposure, hazard, vulnerability) and calibrate them as needed.

- Create production-grade codebases to support the backend modules of the catastrophe models.

- Engage in and improve the quality assurance process.

- Support the development of model documentation.

- Run catastrophe models for clients and effectively communicate the results.

- Provide valuable risk summaries by creating narratives based on modeling data.

- Drive process change by overhauling existing processes and implementing streamlined methodologies.

- Offer guidance and support to other team members.

Requirements:

Essential: Minimum of a Master's degree in engineering, geophysical sciences, or related fields.
