We at RB are looking for Plant Purchase Manager for our largest Factory in India for Home & Hygiene. The role holder is normally responsible for a specific Plant to execute all Projects related to Raw Materials and Packing Materials at Plant level. S/he is also the lead responsible person for resolving critical issues related to Quality and Service in coordination with the suppliers and all other stakeholders. S/he supports the execution of NPD/EPD/Squeeze projects from RM/PM point of view. S/he handles the factory NPS and provides full support to Corporate NPS on execution. In certain scenarios, PPM can handle more than one plant located nearby   RESPONSIBILITIES   Project Execution    - Ensure close monitoring of all projects   - Highlight issues immediately to respective stakeholders and work on solution  - On time closure of all NPS related work and support Corporate NPS team.   Vendor Management    - Ensure close monitoring of vendor performance and drive continuous improvement.  - Assist product development teams to identify product innovation possibilities and ensuring timely support to new product developments.  - Ensuring Service and Quality  - Responsible for coordinating with the suppliers to resolve frequent quality issues and service related issues.   - Assist factory team in efficient management of inventories and drive lead time reduction projects like JIT.   Systems & Process   - Comply with laid down systems and processes of RB and Procurement function and set-up new systems & fine tune existing one to meet requirements of the business.  - Function as a team player to implement end-to-end solutions across the supply chain, including interactions with the demand planning, manufacturing, logistics, R&D and vendors & other external agencies.  - Generation of appropriate MIS and analytics on a regular basis to support performance management systems.  - Responsible for identifying and driving projects on lead time reductions, process improvement and quality compliance.   PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES   - Qualification: MBA (Operations Management), Engineering Degree/ Other equivalent Graduation or Post Graduation Degree  - 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain function / Procurement in a FMCG / related organization.  - Project management expertise and experience fields like supplier processes.   PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES   - Achievement focused and able to work in a direct and often pressurized environment.   - Entrepreneurial skills in terms of innovation and problem solving   - Positive attitude, Proactive, Perseverance, tough-mindedness and ability to influence   - Demonstrates strong team working abilities and commitment   - Commercial awareness - Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability    ABOUT RB:   RB is different: Good enough isn't good enough here.   RB is the world's leading consumer health and hygiene company.
