The Media Manager supports the Regional Manager in developing, prioritizing and leading media and marketing initiatives. S/he provides high quality support to local teams to plan and buy media and interpret media research results. The role holder improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the multi-media investment and co-ordinates development of proven and new media channels. The role holder manages the media agency on a day to day basis. RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES - Develop, prioritize and implement new media initiatives to achieve the objective of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of media efforts - Manage and co-ordinate the media planning and buying for the entire brand portfolio - Collaborate with the brand teams in development of effective i360 media campaigns - Prepare the annual / monthly briefs and support the process of annual strategy presentation with the agencies - Deploy the monthly i360 media plans and control deviation in implementation - Identify and manage new media opportunities to drive the business growth - Prepare and control of spending vs. plans and maintain stable media ROI - Implement media research projects in alignment with Marketing Team using global standard and consistent methodologies - Effectively test media models in markets and report against KPIs - Ensure that global best practice methodologies and standards are followed in the region and results reported back to the region - Develop and train the brand and sales teams media skill base - Maintain up to date knowledge of media trends - Analyze competitor media strategies to improve brand(s) campaign effectiveness and competitiveness - Track, plan, estimate and monitor media budget in conjunction with the Marketing team - Formulate media buy ins, channel deals and contracts with Legal function. - Update the Global Media Team about the developments in the region on constant basis - Reporting of media trends and related activities Requirements: - Experience in Digital Media - Ensuring Media as a function is a driver and contributes to brand and company growth. - Raising the level of knowledge in the local brand teams on media in general. - Managing media costs and inflations - Ensuring the stable ROI from Media and measuring the ROI accurately.
