Position: Legal Manager - Health Business Unit (LLB) Job Location: Gurgaon About the role: The Legal Manager will report to the Regional Legal Director for AMESA located in Gurgaon. This position will provide sound legal advice that address business concerns and will help find creative and/or pragmatic solutions to problems that arise while balancing legal risks against business interests. Key responsibilities: - Responsible for setting up a legal framework to ensure legal compliance; contract drafting; support supply and sales operations; product labelling compliance; IPR filing, protection &amp; enforcement; - Dispute &amp; litigation management; - Support the business teams on a wide range of commercial matters including product development, advisory with respect to marketing campaigns; - Structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements for procurement of raw material/packaging material/logistics, contract manufacturing, creative agency and media contracts; - Advice on licensing and regulatory requirements for product licenses under the Legal Metrology Act, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Food Safety and Standards Act(along with Regulatory, R&amp;D and Quality Teams) - IPR - Filing applications for Trade Mark registration, reviewing oppositions, C&amp;D notices and other enforcement actions for IPR infringement - in collaboration with TM agents - Matters assigned by Regional Legal Director, AMESA from time to time Experience: - LL.B from a reputed Law School; - 7-9 years of experience as in-house legal counsel with a multi-national company, prior experience with leading law firm preferred. Experience of working in a FMCG, e-commerce or retail business is preferred. Qualifications &amp; Skills: - Interpersonal skills, intelligence, and the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and cogent manner are the most important qualifications. Other requirements for this position include: - LL.B with a total of 5-7 years- post qualification experience - Quick thinking, with the ability to interface effectively with internal and external senior management, solving problems on a real-time basis. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong problem solving skills. - Strong desire to learn the business and function smoothly as part of an interdisciplinary team.
