Role Profile Job Title: Data and Systems Architect Function: IS Transformation&nbsp; Reports To: IS Manager - CFM Location India, Hyderabad Peer Group Roles Business Analysts, IS Transformation; SAP Functional Consultants, IS Transformation Role Purpose: The Data and Systems Architect is a part of the Delivery Hub in the IS Transformation team, a team responsible for the delivery of Corporate Continuous Improvement (CI), medium-sized projects and Major Programmes. The team provides expertise in the RB IT systems landscape and includes: Functional Experts; Technical Specialists; cross-business skilled Project Managers; Technical Project Managers; Business Analysts and Integration Competency Centre (ICC). There are also Change/Comms specialists and a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to support delivery. This role is specifically in place to build the transformational solution of Consolidated Financial Management (CFM) to replace the existing homegrown reporting solutions in place to support the business. The role reports to the IS Manager - CFM, supporting the Solution Architect in defining the data mapping mechanisms, technologies, design as well as the integration methodologies that would be put in place. The role is responsible for governing and enforcing the processes around data and integration during the lifecycle of the project and also defining the roadmap going forward once the programme has completed. The resource will work closely with the SI selected as well as the business teams to ensure that the data being sourced is correct and the integration processes in place are as per the business requirement. Scope of Responsibilities: Data and Systems Architect - Support the Solution Architect in both defining the data required and how the information sourcing should be taking place - Work closely with the Solution Architect to build the future roadmap of the solution post the programme completion - Act as the key person maintaining the continuity in owning the solution roadmap post programme completion - Ownership of the design authority during the programme duration as well as post it - Validate the technologies in place to extract and store the required information from a target system standpoint - Review data mapping for completeness and correctness in conjunction with the Sunrise and TURBO specialists to ensure completeness of data - Work with various system owners to ensure no adverse of impact in the acquisition of data on the source systems (eg. JDE having an impact due to usage of CDC) - Creation of Interface governance policy and publishing it to the interested satellite systems to ensure that right level/quality of interfaces are being built - Work with the Integration CC/EA team to ensure that the technologies put in place are validated and agreed as a part of the TRB process Accountabilities - Solution Architecture Ownership for CFM - Design Forum ownership during the phase of the programme - Technology Roadmap Ownership by closely working with the BW teams in SUNRISE/TURBO teams - Interface Governance Ownership by closely working with the Integration CC as well as the Business units to ensure optimal resolution Skills/Experiences Essential - Proven track record of expertise in a suite of SAP Finance Reporting Systems e.g. SAP BW/BPC, SAP BO - Excellent knowledge of HANA (native) to ensure maximum performance output is driven directly - Experience in creating an integration framework based solution - Enthusiastic about the use of technology, with a proven ability to provide a communication - bridge- between the business and technologists - Extensive experience of working in a mixed Waterfall and Agile delivery environment - Experience of supporting complex change and / or multi-disciplinary projects - Able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships - Effective time management and organisational skills - Critical thinker and ability to demonstrate logical approach to problem solving - Strong negotiation and influencing skills particularly at senior levels of an organisation - Able to prioritise work and balance competing demands - Able to deal with conflict and mediate - Able to deal with ambiguity and cope with change. Desirable - Experience of working within FMCG, Personal Hygiene and Healthcare sector. Technical / Professional Qualifications: Essential - Educated in Business discipline or Computer Science to degree level, or equivalent experience - Expertise in suite of SAP Reporting Systems - Microsoft Office Suite to Proficient level. Desirable - Program and Project Management qualifications e.g. Prince2, PMI PMP - Certification in HANA, BPC - Enterprise Architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF, Zachman - Agile software development methodologies e.g. Scrum, DSDM, XP, FDD, SAFe - ITIL V3 to Intermediate level.
