Job Summary : This role shall be responsible for the execution of Capex Sourcing procurement strategies for the Business unit across India/specific project. The position is for a buying expert whose responsibilities include negotiating prices, large project contracts, building and maintaining linkages between procurement, projects - engineering and the factories, developing productivity and saving programs and ensuring all reporting and compliance requirements are met for the areas of responsibility. This position will have direct linkage to Manufacturing team and will liaise closely with this team to deliver the Capex projects in full scope, time and cost. KRA : 1. Procurement Lead for Capex procurement : - Analyse and understand business needs for capex projects - Understand both demand &amp; supply market, - Develop national sourcing strategies including the below to deliver cost savings in capex - Maximizing the LCC (lowest cost country) sourcing buying - Optimize buying using alternative sourcing - Drive alignment with the stake holders - Drive project cost and time schedule in close coordination with Project Manager 2. Global &amp; Regional Sourcing Strategy Alignment : - Drive regional and global projects and contracts in India related to all Capex spend - Coordinate &amp; lead implementation of global initiatives and ensure the strategic approach is delivering the overall benefit for the business - Participate in Global &amp; Regional meetings/Conference calls - Use and update global and regional tools thro team site - Effectively Collaborate with local and global stakeholders and align implementation strategy 3. Contract Execution support &amp; coordination : - Obtain legal approval in accordance with policy - Administer contracts until completion or hand over to replenishment groups - Ensure appropriate documentation of contracts is in place. Maintain files on contracts, bids. 4. Supplier analysis and service improvement and development : - Conduct supplier visits / evaluations to determine suitability - Co-ordinate supplier performance meetings with BU stakeholders - Identify supplier KPI failures and develop action plans for improvement - Develop new supply base for category benefits Education &amp; Experience Requirements : - Engineering Degree (must); Post Graduation Degree good to have - 5~6 years of experience in Project Procurement in a FMCG / related organization - Project management expertise and experience fields like supplier processes Competencies &amp; Skills : - Achievement focused and able to work in a direct and often pressurized environment - Entrepreneurial skills in terms of innovation and problem solving - Positive attitude, Proactive, Perseverance, tough-mindedness and ability to influence - Demonstrates strong team working abilities and commitment - Commercial awareness - Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability - Commitment and Strong track record of delivery - Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills - Ability to challenge status quo About RB : Want to make an impact and have the freedom to succeed?
