Summary As an assistant brand manager, you are the owner of the brand and are responsible for the design and delivery of customer communication across all touch points in the eCommerce space. Reporting to the Head - eCommerce, the role would be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive and execute commercial plans related to the brand on eCommerce platforms. Key Responsibilities Brand ownership - Responsible for performance marketing, including but not limited to brand placement across eCommerce platforms, communication, ROI maximization, new opportunities for brand marketing etc. - Manage the User Experience across online platforms - Content management, creative design, communication, brand store design - Work with the Key Account management to develop and implement innovative brand plans including but not limited to planograms, consumer promotions, new product introductions etc. for eCommerce platforms. - Identify trade needs / opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands in close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing - Ensure successful Launch to sales and in field launch (including providing support to the launch in terms of POS, Advertising etc.) - Ensure adherence of brand guidelines across all touchpoints - Plan, coordinate and timely execute all strategic and tactical campaigns for marketing as well as other cross-functional teams - with help from internal teams and/or external agencies -ecommerce Marketing budget management - Assist in developing an annual brand calendar, manage budgets and track expenditures for eCommerce - Manage overall advertisement spends on eCommerce Advertising, Media, and Promotion on eCommerce platforms - Develop and manage the communication strategy and media plans, from briefing stage to deployment - Identify and deploy any other communication needs for the brand identified - PR/Trade/HCP etc. - Drive brand narratives across eCommerce platforms for awareness, engagement, salience, and preference - Work with internal teams and external agencies for content creation/advertising and distribution across traditional and digital media Market Research : - Design, and track brand health parameters through research - Track and Design mechanisms to gain and disseminate market insights to relevant Stakeholders - Map competition on product offerings/features, advertising, and marketing initiatives Resource Management : - Manage the end-to-end business deliverables via agency - Catalogue management, ensuring timely payments to accounts - Ensure that the right marketing activities are taking place by tracking initiatives across eCommerce platforms Working Relationship : Internal Contacts : - Brand marketing team - Digital Marketing team - Supply chain team External Contacts : - eCommerce platforms (Category and marketing teams) - Marketing agencies EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Essential : - MBA from tier-1 business schools from Sales/Marketing - 2+ years of experience
