The role will be Supporting the execution of budgetary and strategic planning cycle stress testing and regulatory stress tests (PRA, EBA, 9+3 and ICAAP) and Delivering Stress Testing Execution across all functions and disciplines as required, including; Retail, CCR, PBIL, Securitisation, with primary focus on Credit.

The Role is in Stress Testing - Credit Analytics and reports to Lead - Stress Testing - Credit Analytics

Your Responsibilities

As Associate Vice President your key responsibilities will be - 

- Delivering the execution of budgetary and strategic planning cycle stress testing and regulatory stress tests (PRA, EBA, 9+3, ICAAP etc.) which includes delivery of STDF templates

- Resolution of regulatory actions and queries resulting from the stress testing submissions

- Undertake comprehensive analysis throughout the firm-wide stress testing cycle, and hold early discussions with relevant SMEs, on specific features of each stress scenario and its outcomes.

- Supporting firm-wide stress testing and ensuring it accurately presents results for the required scenario, including conducting and assessing stress losses and Risk Weighted Assets & management actions across credit, market and operational risk.

- Determine model requirements to deliver prescribed stress tests; In collaboration with stress test model development team requirements.

- Participate in dialogue across three lines of defense on stress methodologies, results and evidence deliverables for credit.

- Work with businesses and SMEs to drive consistency of methodology and assumptions across credit.

- Provide Expert support and advice to the business on risk management. This includes interpreting and complying with the risk policy standards and risk management framework

- Proven track record of handling internal stakeholders, facilitating regulatory and internal stress testing related queries

- A good understanding of external regulations and their impact on stress test methodologies and business portfolios

- Strong experience of credit portfolio modelling in major banks or rating agencies

- Good understanding of the Basel II/III framework

The skills you will need

- 6+ years professional experience in risk management or in a Banking environment

- Strong quantitative background

- A high level understanding of a banking institution P&L, balance sheet, and capital management topics

- Experience in producing high quality documentation output

- Possess significant knowledge of stress testing, and cross-risk disciplines (Market Risk, Operational Risk, etc.)

- Strong experience of credit portfolio modelling in major banks or rating agencies

- Hold a degree in quantitative discipline

- Good understanding of the Basel II/III framework

- Experience in the adaption and embedding of capital analytics and communicating capital outcomes to stakeholders

- Sound analytical and mathematical skills, with Financial Controls knowledge and experience
