The role holder will also provide local business support, related to embedding People Agenda. What the Business Does : NatWest Markets (NWM) is the wholesale banking division of the RBS Group with branches and trading activities located in numerous worldwide locations but principally the USA, Europe, and Asia. The team provides services related to the management and control of transaction integrity and operational support front to back for all capital markets transactions globally. With the interconnected nature of the business activities and technology, estate teams will continue to manage a mix of transactions covering business activities undertaken by both Markets and Capital Resolution. Your Responsibilities: - Maintenance of Layers as per defined Span Layers guidelines - Active Support development of the function's strategic plan; tracking and reporting against the plan and updates to stakeholders - Create and implement People Agenda across NWM COO - Drive Our View action tracking and smooth implementation - Strategize, own, manage and deliver an engaging, and effective engagement and communications to support TMO campaigns, strategic communications and business initiatives - Support L&amp;D requirement at the NWM COO level - Engage with senior leaders to identify and prioritise L&amp;D needs for the team. - Engage in strategizing the creating a people carter including L&amp;D - Drive people priorities across the department - Identify opportunities for improvement to process and service provisions The Skills You Will Need : - A capacity for maintaining a complex work stack through a systematic and logical approach to self-organisation underpinned by appropriate processes and software tools. - The ability to gather pertinent content in an efficient and logical way to uncover root causes. To then consider the range of options to address that concern and recommend the best path forward with resounding justification. - A confident self-driven individual with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team in the delivery of quality outcomes. To demonstrate initiative and work diligently to consistently deliver to high standards - The ability to help others see the common solution and resolve differences in opinion leading to the removal of objectors. The ability to influence decision-makers and senior managers - An awareness of negotiating skills and how to use them in a business context to improve on an outcome - Previous experience of working in a BM team, i.e. working on multiple priorities and working under extreme pressure - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong on MI generations and data representation for Senior Stakeholders - Must be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency - Effective Team working and the ability to build rapport WHY RBS : Our purpose is to serve customers well.
