Job Description Job title Zonal Head Level AVP Reporting to Head - Branch Audit Duties & Responsibilities - Ensure Planning and implementation of audit plan at Zonal level effectively and efficiently. - Monitor the performance of Zonal Audit lead and Zonal Auditors in the zone. - Review of Audit reports and closures to ensure high quality and standardization. - Lead the special audits in the region including zonal or regional office audits. - Interact with Zonal business teams and other stakeholders on a regular basis. - Present the monthly audit dashboard to the business and other support functions as appropriate. - Review the major observations identified in the zone and ensure they are monitored for appropriate closure. - Review previous audit reports for analysis. - Conduct adequate training to the Audit team and new joiners to enable them to perform at expected levels. - Driving key audit strategy initiatives in coordination with the zonal audit team and Audit HO. - Ensure expenses for the zone are within the budget. - Ensure adherence to TAT as per the deliverables. - Monitor and ensure all audit reports are closed effectively within the given timelines and exceptions are reported. - Report major irregularities / deficiencies observed during audit on timely manner to Head- Branch Audit. - Review policy and processes and keep track of process change. - Conduct special/thematic audit as per the direction of senior management, Head- BA and HOD. - Monitor key trends and triggers shared by the various functions/ verticals and make effective audit analysis of key focus areas. - Travel across Zones/ Regions. Qualification: 1. Education: 2. Specialization: 3. Skills: 4. Professional Certification (if any): 5. Total Experience: EE 1. Education: - Post-graduate / MBA / CA or - Graduate with relevant experience in Internal Audit / Risk Management 2. Specialization: - Knowledge of Internal Audit process and understanding of Risk and Controls. - Certification in Audit or risk management will be an added advantage. 3. Skills: - Ability to manage team and enhance team performance - Excellent Communication, Report writing and presentation skills - Working knowledge in Excel, Data Analysis and Presentation. - Ability to work effectively in a time-bound and challenging assignments - Excellent interpersonal skills. 4. Total Experience: - Candidates with at least 8-10 years of total work experience in Banks/NBFC/MFI in Internal Audit / Operations / Risk Management - Atleast 5 - 6 years in Internal Audit
