Position: AVP - Taxation & payroll accounting Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer Job Profile: Indirect Tax: 1. Verifying GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 6 workings and ensuring payments are made and returns are filed within due dates 2. Verifying 3-way GST monthly reconciliation as per books of accounts and as per statement prepared v/s actual credit taken in GST return. 3. Coordinating with tax consultant for monthly GST returns and other GST related matters. 4. Interaction with vendors for credit not received in GSTR 2A. 5. Verifying GSTR 9 and GSTR 9C. 6. Ensuring timely branch addition on GST portal. 7. Preparing monthly MIS w.r.t GST gross liability and Credit availed and utilized. 8. Approving entries for all GST payments and Credit setoff. 9. Preparing reply to queries received from GST Department. Direct Tax: 1. Verifying monthly TDS / TCS working before payment for TDS. 2. Verifying the quarterly TDS / TCS return. 3. Maintaining Monthly MIS on TDS / TCS payment 4. Approving entries for all TDS Payment 5. Handling Income Tax related work - Assessments, Re-Assessment, Scrutiny, Show cause notices 6. Co-ordinating / follow up with the tax consultant and compiling the data for solving queries w.r.t assessments and notices 7. Handling tax audit and filing of Income Tax Return on timely basis. 8. Co-ordination with tax consultant for obtaining 80JJAA certificate. 9. Filing form 15CA in case of foreign payments 10. Filing of lower TDS application 11. Filing Preliminary response for SFT annual return. 12. Preparing monthly and quarterly Compliance MIS report for compliance committee meeting. 13. Handling and providing data to Auditors for statutory Audit, Limited Review and internal audit Payroll accounting: 1. Verifying and approving salary JV received from payroll vendor. 2. Accounting for recoveries from employee to respective general ledgers and approval of GST invoices w.r.t such recoveries. 3. Recording of all payroll related provisions. 4. Reconciliation of salary payable as per ledger and as per listing of payable as per payroll vendor 5. Ensuring that employee clearance for exit employees is uploaded in payroll module on timely basis 6. Payment of other statutory dues i.e. PF, PT, ESIC, LWF etc. Core competency: - Practical and In-depth knowledge on Income tax and GST. - Good analytical and presentation skills - Experience for handling team. - Self-motivation and positive attitude. Computer skills:- - Expert Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel. Knowledge of SAP / ERP is required. Eligibility: - CA with more than 7 years' experience in Direct and Indirect taxation - Languages known: English, Hindi
