Job Title : Program Manager - Trade and Foreign Exchange

Grade - VP2

Department - Branch & Business Banking

Location Mumbai

Reporting To Head- Trade & Foreign Exchange, Diplomatic Segment, ATM Network and Debit cards, BBB

A. Position Purpose :

This is a leadership role as part of central program and product team in Business and Branch Banking This role is required to deliver TFX product business goals in the short to long term with core focus on execution. This roles key ownership and accountabilities ares follows :

1. Deliver financial targets

2. Own the Operating model, Metrics, productivity and product sales distribution

3. launch of new markets, new products and segments, initiatives

4. People Management:

5. client engagement and external interfaces

B. Position Responsibilities

Sr. Key Responsibilities(Please mention all the responsibilities expected from the incumbent to perform)

1 Product Sales Management

- Deliver Trade and FX revenues and client acquisition, retention as per financial targets.

- Improve the productivity in sales channels

- Create, drive initiatives .lead development of product proposition for retail, niche client segments.

- Lead the overall performance and the day to day execution, Competition benchmarking

- Drive Trade and FX analytics, and provide inputs to markets and address productivity

- Support building of digital capabilities to reduce and stabilise cost to serve.

- People Management: hiring, training, comp, performance mgmt. and employee satisfaction/loyalty.

- Alignment with Risk, Product Partners and all middle/back office functions

- Drive standardisation of processes across all zones. Improve quality of operational processes.

2 Customers/stakeholder: Relationship/feedback

- Develop and maintain relationships with all Stakeholders - Operations, Treasury, FX sales, Central trade ops, compliance and other product and service teams and Product Management teams

- Actively engage with the Business - Sales & Product. Develop a business partner relationship.

- Develop and maintain a rapport with Zonal heads of BBB. Actively engage, partner and drive changes. Provide support whenever required

- Develop and deliver continuous engagement tools with customers Compliance and operational risk

- Continuously increase Compliance alertness through interaction with staff, training & implementation of automated tools.

- Ensure complete adherence to various compliance related guidelines and programs

- Ensuring that complex and changing compliance requirements are met by improving compliance knowledge in the team, target becoming a centre of expertise

4 Service Quality

- Reducing costs/ increasing productivity Deliver transactions in agreed timeframes, as per SLAs, Suggest Improvements in quality of processing, reduce errors.

- Expand service distribution while keeping costs at bay

- Develop and build a business partner approach with in operations, product and sales.

- Reduce complexity of current operating model by improving quality and better risk management

Qualifications and Experience Requirement :

Preferably Post graduate/ MBA

- Minimum 10 years experience and knowledge of Banking and Trade Products is a must

Experience-

Strong knowledge of the international trade guidelines and Foreign Exchange

- Good understanding of Trade Products, activity flows, systems, associated risks, applicable rules and regulations.

- Reasonably good understanding of the global economy, policies, trends etc.Strong orientation towards Operational risk and Compliance and local regulatory guidelines.

- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure strong teamwork across all cross functions and Zonal teams.
