- Working Closely with Finance team and cross functional teams to prepare Quick estimate and understand control numbers on every 1st day of the month [Critical deadline]

- Working closely with Trade spends team to work out total Trade spends channel wise and A&P [including Promotions] and finalized monthly provisions subject to alignment and approval of stakeholders

- Ensure checks and controls for Month closure activities including control numbers and provisions wherever applicable [Sales, Trade Spends, COGS, A&P, Consumer promotions, Selling expenses and other key heads of P&L]

- Prepare channel wise SKU wise /Category /Sub category /Brand /Variant /Product group wise Sales /COGS and margin file [Separate at vertical levels and combined for FMCG]

- Monthly management reporting, updating reporting decks for presentation to the management on the business performance [monthly /Quarterly Board presentations]

- Prepare Gross margin variance analysis and understand key reasons for variance

- Prepare and Maintain masters [Product masters, COGS masters, Margin matrix]

- Prepare rolling forecast with bottom up approach [by taking inputs of sales from Sales team, spends from trade team, COGS SCM finance /SCM] to work out detailed Gross Margin and rest inputs on finance partners

- Assist in conducting various types of financial and business analysis & other projects as per requirement

- Understand robust assumptions to drive rolling monthly FC

- Prepare budget with bottom up approach annually [P&L, BS, Cash flow]

- Track actual performance vs budget vs FC and understand deviation with reasons [Analyzing, investigating and explaining key movements and trends in major P&L lines to the management and providing explanation for the variances between budget and actuals]

- Closely track of Gross margin, COGS and variance

- Preparation of plant P&L - checks and controls on control numbers

- Assist in conducting various types of financial and business analysis

- Pull together gap to budget & goal sales, profit & working capital plans

- Lead long range financial planning, Portfolio & Building Blocks development

- SCM Finance

- Prepare basis reports on Inventory movement, COGS movement

- Assist in COGS saving projects
