Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our drones business team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the availability of high-quality drone components and materials. Your role will be critical in driving cost efficiencies, maintaining product quality, and supporting the growth of our drones business.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements of drone components, materials, and services. Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

- Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on predefined criteria, such as cost, quality, capacity, and capability. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost targets.

- Cost management: Analyse market trends, conduct cost analysis, and negotiate favourable terms and pricing with suppliers. Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering options, and alternative sources of supply without compromising quality and performance.

- Risk management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by implementing robust contingency plans, supplier diversification strategies, and proactive monitoring of market conditions and potential disruptions.

- Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing function, including process optimization, supplier performance evaluations, and implementation of best practices. Seek opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of overall experience

- 3+ Years of experience within the following industries - Drones, Electronics, Aviation, Automobile

- Experience in supplier & vendor management

- Experience in International vendor networks

- Understanding of Imports & Exports, Duties
