NeoSky has strong presence in Drone manufacturing, Training & Services directly and through its subsidiary 'Throttle Aerospace'. The company has India's first DGCA approved drone, has license to make drones for defence, qualified for government's PLI scheme and has DGCA- license for remote pilot training.

Role:

NeoSky is expanding rapidly and looking for a dynamic, visionary leader for leading the training business unit. Someone from the skilling background who can take the vision of the company into execution and impact lives of millions of Indian youths.

Key Responsibilities:

- Skilling: Set up the training calendar, run the courses as per the commitments given to the client. The candidate needs to have necessary skills to take up the course when needed. He / She need to be up to date with the latest developments in the drone industry. He / She need to impart the right knowledge, skills to all the students and make them 'Industry ready' by the time they complete the course. He / She will be responsible for creating the curriculum and ensure it meets the objective of the program.

- Business expansion: Expand the training business to newer avenues (segments, courses, locations). Design innovative approaches to deliver the right output.

- Mobilization: Ensure that we can mobilise all the necessary resources needed to scale up the program when needed. It includes hiring, scaling up infrastructure, customising the course when & where needed.

- Operations: Running the day-day operations to ensure a smooth running of the programs as per the approved training calendar. Need to build the right support systems in terms of process, people etc and ability to 'think on your feet' when needed. Responsible for running all the projects.

- Customer relationships: As a face of the company to its clients, He / She need to ensure the right expectation setting between the client and the company (NeoSky). Ensure all the project KRA's are delivered, and a strong business relationship maintained with existing and potential new clients.

- Payment & Invoicing: Need to oversee the Billing, Payment process. There will be a team to support him / her with this process.

- Industry Trends & External orientation: You are expected to monitor and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, providing strategic recommendations to drive the company's growth. To be a thought leader, drive the culture of technology-orientation across the organization. Represent the company externally when & where needed, this includes engagement with DGCA, NSIC etc.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree. A master's or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.

- Experience: Proven track record of at least 5-10 years in training / skilling space, especially in technology. Preferably in the drone, Aerospace industry or a related field.

- Having a DGCA approved drone instructor and pilot license will be a huge value-add. Medium-class certificate is preferred but small category is also okay

- Drone Expertise: Strong understanding of the drone technologies. Drone rules, Rotar craft, Fixed wing UAV's. Preferably someone who has flown drones for at least 10 hours.
