NeoSky has strong presence in Drone manufacturing, Training & Services directly and through its subsidiary 'Throttle Aerospace'. The company has India's first DGCA approved drone, has license to make drones for defence, qualified for government's PLI scheme and has DGCA- license for remote pilot training.

Role : As the Head of Defence Sales, you will be responsible for leading and expanding our sales initiatives for the Defence sales channel , within and outside of India. You will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth within the defence sector. You need to identify the right product for the right customer, build the market and create demand for the drones of NeoSky and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy for the defence sector, aligning with overall business objectives.

- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and create plans for penetrating and expanding market share.

Relationship Management :

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with defence agencies, government entities, and other key stakeholders.

- Collaborate with decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored drone solutions.

Business Development :

- Lead business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the defence sector.

- Leverage industry knowledge to position the company as a preferred partner for defence-related drone applications.

Proposal Development and Negotiation :

- Oversee the preparation of high-quality proposals and bids for defence contracts.

- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure profitable agreements.

Team Leadership :

- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.

- Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture within the team.

Market Intelligence :

- Stay informed about defence industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities.

- Provide insights to the executive team for informed decision-making.

- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, export controls, and licensing requirements in the defence sector.

- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to navigate complex compliance issues.

Customer Satisfaction :

- Monitor customer satisfaction within the defence sector, addressing concerns and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.

- Act as a point of escalation for customer issues, working towards resolutions.

Sales Reporting and Analysis :

- Implement robust reporting mechanisms to track and analyze sales performance against targets.

- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales metrics and market insights.

Product Development :

- As the vital link between our end-customers and internal teams, ensure seamless communication, understanding, and collaboration, fostering a dynamic synergy that enhances overall customer satisfaction and organizational success.

Tech orientation :

- Drive drone sales with a tech-centric approach, leveraging cutting-edge advancements to tailor innovative solutions, providing customers with not just products, but integrated technological experiences that elevate their capabilities and outcomes.

Product Demos :

- Execute efficient demo of products, orchestrating captivating and insightful demonstrations that showcase the full potential of drone solutions, from flight capabilities to advanced features, leaving a lasting impression on clients, driving informed purchasing decisions.

Requirements :

- Proven experience in defense sales within the drones or aerospace industry.

- In-depth knowledge of defense procurement processes and regulations.

- 15+ years of overall experience and 5+ Years of experience in dealing with MoD, MHA

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to travel as needed.
