The Product Management personnel will be responsible for RateGain's product planning and execution all through the lifecycle of the business. This is inclusive of gathering and prioritizing requirements for the product, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with other stakeholders in order to ensure that the financials goals of the product are achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be the CEO of the product and co-own P&L

- Understand the company's business objectives to ensure product vision & functionality is aligned to meet those objectives

- Lead and define product vision, product development and execution & ensure high return on investment (ROI) on your product.

- Identify and define the target to be achieved and manage its delivery. Communicate crisply to engineering team verbally and in writing. Gather information informally but ensure giving directions formally.

- Understand the market and competition extremely well. Keep track of competitors and have regular updates in Roadmap to keep an eye on the same

- Translate ideas into strategy and features & follow product development from start to finish with complete ownership. Own Product Roadmap at various levels including 10x ideas.

- Anticipate and identify product flaws and build real solutions. Take written positions on important issues like competitive silver bullets, tough architectural choices, tough product decisions, and markets to attack and yield.

- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development

- Write user stories and scenarios. Collaborate with the Product Managers, Development Managers, and Quality Assurance to maintain the product backlog.

- Participate in Sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings and provide feedback.

- Manage scope and define minimum viable product for assigned development concepts

- Help the team to estimate development time for each scenario. Work closely with UI/UX teams to drive experience maps, concept storyboards, functional wireframes, and other user experiences

- Evolve Support for Sales enablement for Product

- Should be a data citizen with the ability to analyze data and derive high level insights

Leadership Skills- Experience in working and contributing towards the vision and culture of company

- Experience in driving the company's strategic direction, development and future growth

- Exceptionally well organized with a track record that demonstrates self-motivation, creativity and initiative to achieve personal and corporate goals

- Excellent communication skills. Should be able to articulate his ideas well and escalate problems on time within the right forum.

QUALIFICATION

- 12-15 years of relevant professional experience in Product Management and/or Consulting or similar from Tiered 1/Tiered 2 college

- Experience to interact at all levels of management both within the organization and with the Customer Organization. Comfortable handling data and/or analytics and technology

- Have a working knowledge of Data Science (e.g.; forecasting, optimization), Big data, Data Management, and Enterprise software products

- Exceptional project management and organization skills

- Experience in the Travel & Hospitality technology domain is a must.
