Lead - Sales & Marketing - EPC/Ductile Iron Pipe/Billet/TMT

1. Sales & Marketing of Ductile Iron Pipes to various Water Authorities / Municipal Corporations / Jal Boards / Public Health Engineering Dept / Irrigation & Public Health / Development Authorities / Urban Improvement Trusts / Industrial Development Corporations / Water Supply & Sewerage Boards / Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Boards / in the States of India and Various Turnkey Contractors in his territory.

2. Accountable for achievement of sales targets (quantity, collections and profitability) for his territory.

3. Carry out Registration with various Water Authorities, Clients and Consultants to increase sale of the DI Pipes in his territory.

4. Generate Enquiries, Prepare Techno Commercial Offers, carry out Negotiations for Order Finalization including Pre & Post Sales.

5. Arrange Payments, Road Permits, PACs, CForm etc.

6. Coordinate with H.O. / Plant for timely execution of contracts. Arrange payments, Road permits, PACs, C Forms etc as per the terms of P.O.

7. Work collaboratively & effectively with Agents & Dealers in his territory.

8. Arranging for LC/delivery period extension as and when required in case of delay in supplies.

9. Handling of Customer's complaints/grievance .

10. Need to Focus on collection & recovery of overdue through customer contact concalls as and when required .

11. Tie up with agents to for large tenders & to draw business plan.

12. Need to spend minimum two days in plant for better coordination, to understand actual stock level, which will decide price and sales strategy .

13. All information on inquiries, orders need to be uploaded on ERP .

14. If Target is failed / dispatch is low attendance will be based on prorata travel days .

15. All EPC tenders L1 bidders enquiry to put up in ERP by regional office daily basis to understand market size, enquiry size and lost orders data base on daily basis .

16. Tendering Generation.

17. Overdue recovery plan be made on weekly basis .

18. CFO, Head Sales and State Head to do con call on every Monday on recovery of overdue.

19. Agent contact to be made to modify including penalty on delay payment .

20. Any other duties & functions as may be assigned from time to time .

Market Development :

21. Product substitution in area of lift irrigation and power plant piping to ductile iron from other pipe categories.

22. Track competition activity and obtain market intelligence by obtaining information of completion by obtaining price circulars etc .

23. Develop relationship and association with secretaries of PHED, RWS, WR, UD and their departments, planning cell .

24. Pre bid MOU with prospective bidders after floating of tenders .

25. Meet with SE /EE and develop strong association.

26. Follow up on DPR appointments of Consultant.

27. Develop relationship with consultant.

28. Follow up and obtain data on LOI issued from the planning cell .

29. Follow up with contractors issued LOI for Projects .
