Technical Manager
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Help in architect, Design and Develop key new software components.
- Manage development team members to ensure release milestone content is delivered on schedule and with high quality.
- Mentor and train other development team members in technology and design techniques as necessary.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the highest product quality.
- Work closely with the Customer Support team and periodically provide direct support to customers and users.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to develop processes that contribute to workplace and team improvements.
- Troubleshoot operational and deployment issues
Desired skills and experience :
- Minimum 12+ years project management, operations or strategy analyst experience
- The candidates should have good experience in Microsoft Technologies(ASP.NET, C#, Sql Server).
- Should have hands on development skills in Dot Net technology.
- Good experience in banking domain and at least 2 to 3 Projects in Payment applications.
- Should have handled a team of 15 to 20 Members and strong in Microsoft applications(Dot Net).
- Good in designing and implementing solutions preferably for banking clients.
- Comfortable working in tech-based product environment usually associated with software development to include requirements analysis, product design, change and configuration management, testing and deployment
- Experience in project managing large complex projects to a successful conclusion
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, development and maintenance of schedules of varying granularity
- Ability to establish management processes for the program, provide performance reporting, educate the organization on Project Management, drive schedule and sub-schedule creation and adherence, demonstrate high ethics and values; knowledge of methods, processes, tools, etc. associated with software development
- Sufficient product and process knowledge to support decomposition, planning, assessment of progress and an ability to manage risks
- Goal oriented Leader with action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined abilities; solid organization, communication, and team motivation skills
- Process analysis, documentation and mapping strengths
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Must be able to travel
