Raqmiyat - Project Manager - Mobility

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Must have ability to think strategically based on client's target customer, and drive key feature requirements of mobile applications.

- Develops and demonstrates an understanding of the client's business, their needs, expectations, and requirements.

- Collaborates with the project team to drive the approach, deliverables, schedule and tools to deliver the project within established constraints.

- Works with client team as well as any and all members of assigned project team to estimate costs and timing for tasks such as project strategy, functional design, visual design, technology requirements, etc., utilizing established estimating process and tools.

- Coordinates all activities of the project team and ensures that project tasks are completed by: scheduling and facilitating project-related team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews, etc,), communicating action steps to team, and delivering weekly status reports to project team, the client and management.

- Delivery of projects on time, to budget and to scope.

- Creating and maintaining projects plans, covering dependencies, milestones and external meetings, with inputs from the delivery team.

- Manage changes to, and risks around and resource planning

- RAID management, with appropriate communication and escalation as required.

- Ensuring a strict change management process is adhered to, working alongside the delivery team, product team and client services.

- Working closely with internal teams and 3rd party development teams

- Maintenance of project reports to ensure spend, progress to project objectives, changes and RAID is clearly visible at all times.

- Managing communications during key project meeting

- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve delivery processes.

- Lead by example by embodying a professional, approachable and positive attitude.

Required Skills & Experience:

- At least 3-5 years- experience as a Project Manager in mobile technologies

- Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.

- Strong working knowledge of IOS and Android technologies, ideally from a mobile development background.

- Knowledge and understanding of Agile software development and methodologies and Continuous Integration concepts

- Experience developing native apps in iOS or Android

- Knowledge of tuning native apps for performance and usage of local data stores for native apps

- Understanding of the creation and consumption of REST Web Services

- A sound understanding of content management systems

- Experience of Agile methodologies.

- Outstanding communication skills - knowing when and how to communicate to different roles and seniority.

- True team play - able to bring people together and create a strong team dynamic.

- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

- Develop required materials including technical specifications, project and resource plans, project updates, and presentation materials.

- Understands Mobile Application Development Platform ( MADP) and should have had experience in any of the following, Kony or IBM Worklight, Xamarin

- Technical understanding of how Mobile technologies work, UI/UX, Testing, Integration techniques with Backend Databases

- Vertical Industry Domain knowledge - should have at least worked in three industry domains

- Knowledge of B2E, B2C, B2B use cases. Must have successfully implemented projects in all of these segments.
