- MBA/masters in marketing. Ability to lead a team and drive the business to achieve its goals and objectives

- A minimum 5 years working experience and relevant track record in a marketing or sales role for a reputable brand/international organization.

- Good mix of strategic/analytical/presentation skills and action orientation

- Entrepreneurial, energetic individual with a desire to create. Have a bent towards innovation.

- Good interpersonal and communications skills (needs to interact directly with the company stakeholders like the clients, senior management, the GJEPC council, agency heads, vendors, publications etc.)

- Independent, reliable, impeccable personal and professional integrity

- Structured and organised. As an international organization the candidate must operate professionally and rigorously when it comes to compliance and governance

- Track record in developing and leading a young team of performers.

- Hindi and English a must. Gujarati would be an added advantage but the not the criteria.

- Willing to travel

The key focus areas are :

1. Sales:

- Responsible for motivating and advising their reps to improve their performance, as well as hiring and training new sales representatives.

- Achieve their objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.

- Ensure that the sales department works cross functionally with executives from other departments. For example, they collaborate with marketing to generate new lead sources and expand the target customer base, or with product and research teams to make sure customer needs are met.

2. Customer Service:

- Ensure that the needs of the customers are being satisfied. Your aim is to provide excellent customer service and to promote this idea throughout the organization you work for.

- You may work at various levels, from head office to the front-end of the business and in most cases will be:

a. Helping to develop and implement a customer service policy for the RapNet team

b. Finding ways to measure customer satisfaction and improve services

c. Managing a team of customer service staff

d. Handling face-to-face enquiries from customers.

3. Consumer Understanding:

- Do regular consumer contacts and ensure that we have an ongoing process of gaining insights.

- Lead the Consumer Research to validate insights, test creative ideas, and track the larger consumer mindset journey.

- Work with the internal teams to create a research plan, and deep dive into the methodology, questionnaires, etc to ensure that we get the right & relevant information

- Create a regular communication channel with all partners to ensure that all are a part of this journey.

4. Communication Development:

- Work closely with the various product heads & the team to develop strong consumer insights, and convert them into a communication campaign that connects & resonates with the consumer.

- Work with different product heads get their inputs and build on the creative ideas.

5. Marketing

- Work with the marketing team to find creative opportunities & innovative ideas to connect with the consumer through multiple touchpoints

- Leverage Digital marketing to have a more focused approach to messaging to a more finely targeted consumer.

- Serve as the day-to-day contact: Daily communication & approvals, management of plan implementation, ensure deliverable and deadlines are being met by the team members
