Assistant to Compliance Manager

- The Rapaport Group is an international network of companies providing added value services that support the development of fair, transparent, competitive and efficient diamond and jewelry markets. We are looking for an Assistant to Compliance Manager to join our team.

- Reporting to the Chief Compliance Manager & Manager-HR, the person will be responsible for overall compliance & HR gamut of the Company, including internal audit, tracking performance data, competency mapping, job assessment etc.

- This is a full time position based in Mumbai, India.

Preferred Qualification :

- A postgraduate degree in Accounts or Economics

Experience : The incumbent must have, at least, 3 years- relevant experience in handling Compliance, audit & HR work.

Responsibilities as under :

- Assisting Compliance head in regular Compliance and HR work

- Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.

- Internal audit

- Arrange regular training as per schedule

- Preparation of HR letters, reports etc.

- Helping to prepare policies & procedures

- Review Policy & Procedures, Employee Profile

- Assisting Manager for PR with Govt. authorities

- Preparation of Training schedules

- Preparation of records - Training, MOM, ISO related reports, HR related reports etc.

- Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.

- Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.

- Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.

- Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.

- Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.

- Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.
