Job Summary:

The Director of Investor Relations will broaden and enhance shareholder value and the organization's prospective financial image.

The Investor Relations officer must be a seasoned professional who has extensive experience in generating business results and leading teams with effective management skills. The job requires a corporate professional who also has entrepreneurial skills and looks to the future with optimism to envision what could be possible. Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, leadership, and vision.

Job Profile/Investor Relations officer qualifications

An excellent incumbent who will make our journey exciting and jitter free by ensuring we are duly funded at every growth phase, it includes the entire life cycle of Fund Raising & Maintaining Investor relations. One who will be responsible for managing all investor deliverable s and legal processes with external stakeholders. He should be capable of creating the appropriate strategy, framework and tactics on the IR Legal fronts. It is equally important to deeply imbibe the company culture values and evangelize the same across the organization. The Investor Relations officer would closely work with the founders and the business teams to develop and execute strategies to deliver intended outcomes.

Designing PowerPoint presentations for investor / financial / customer/ companies Data interpretation and analytics, write-ups and responses on the requirements of investor community /financial media. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It also requires the ability to carefully manage relationships outside the company.

Qualifications desired for the Head of Investor Relations are:

- A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting

- An MBA or FMVA certification is an asset

- 10 or more years experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and Equity Research Analysts

- Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements

- Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry

- Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors

- Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines

Duties/Responsibilities but not limited to

- To analyze corporate activities for investors, identifying networking and other opportunities to build and create new initiatives and also to independently lead discussions with potential investors such as Angels, Family Offices, Venture Capital Funds and Private Equity funds to raise capital

- To maintain and develop a positive public image for the organization and manage long term relations with the Company's existing stakeholders

- To work strategically with CEO's Office to create fundraising strategies, capital needs planning and the creation and execution of multiple fundraising rounds

- To prepare Financial Models, Investment pitches and Presentations and Exit strategies

- To manage investor database and enhance investor engagement and relations and to represent the company as appropriate, at investor forums to build new potential relationships

- To ensure the organization is duly funded for all growth phases

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Captivating verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions.

- Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text.

- Ability to analyze and improve opportunities for investors.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business, or related field required.

- At least five years of business experience required.

- An MBA from B School or B.Tech from reputed University

- 5 to 7 years' of experience in Investor relations & communication with a Public listed company prepare and write content for financial communication instruments like financial presentations, investor letters, annual reports financial press & media

Experience & Required Skill Set

- Experience in an Investment bank / Venture capital firm / Corporate development arm of tech business

- Experience in Crowd Funding sites like kick-start, Initial Exchange Offerings, raising money via angel list or similar platforms

- Strong contacts with Indian/ Global Venture Capital/ Private Equity firms along with Networking skills

- Should have the presence and gravitas to represent company

- Strong deal-making experience

- Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors

- Preference to the person who has experience in seed-stage startup fundraising in the Internet space

- Highly proficient in proposal development, pitching and presenting, and the international development funding landscape

- Proven ability to develop and present investor materials (both in written form and in-person presentations), build new relationships and account manage existing relationships

- Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry

- A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends

- Is expected to create the appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics, as well as for providing a very compelling investor relations roadmap.

Other Duties

- To act as liaison between the company and the public on financial matters.

- To support the management team in the preparation and execution of inbound and outbound transactions

- To facilitate financial analyst meetings, which may include creating and reviewing the agenda, suggesting and setting the format and dates of the meetings, and fielding questions that may arise before, during, and after the meeting and also to represent the company, as appropriate, at investor forums to build potential new relationships

- To facilitate the company's annual meeting, which may include creating and reviewing the agenda, coordinating the meeting space, arranging press coverage, and other related tasks and to produce quarterly and annual shareholder reports.

- Deliver high quality investor related financial reports in a timely manner

- Devise actionable strategies from investor client insights

- Build maintain financial valuation models of the company

- Analyze present financial trends, shareholder issues and similar business matters

- Drafting and or negotiating all investor agreements and client contracts

- Work with external legal counsels to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
