Position: Senior Manager - HR  Location: Initial 3 months in Chennai & relocated to KL   Experience: Minimum of 14 - 20 years relevant HR experience  Qualifications: MBA in HR / MSW / MA (HR) is MUST (Should have maintained 70% throughout the academics)  Job Description:   - Acting as a Change agent in Managing Organizational change and ensure continuous improvement in quality and value of HR service  - To provide employees with high level of proactive and forward thinking Operational HR service to Executives and Leadership team with regards to their human resource needs  - Responsible for excellent understanding of HR best practice and ability to apply this to employee relations cases  - To play a critical role as an internal consultant in influencing, identifying and maximizing opportunities to improve the potential capability of the business teams, enabling them to exceed the key business challenges.   - To play a key role in forming, developing and driving an influential relationship between the new entrant and the managers   - Responsible for identifying talent and high potential individuals within business group  - Ensure retention of the best people by working with managers to create a positive working culture and environment which improves team and individual engagement  - Work collaboratively with L&D team to develop internal careers and future talent across all levels within business area  - Co-ordinate with Department heads and Talent Acquisition team to plan and forecast headcount for the business area in line with budgeted headcount   - Manage complex HR cases within the business area with the aim to minimize risk and exposure  - Work with line managers to develop their capability and understanding to deal effectively with employee relations issues  - Ensure Fair and transparent HR processes and procedures  - Ensures 100% accuracy of all HR data and utilizes information to take decision  - Work collaboratively with others to achieve excellence, across all levels of the business  Desired Skills:  - Should have working experience in ASEAN region  - Sound knowledge of ASEAN employment related ordinance, HR policies & procedures  - Strong generalist HR skillset  - Experience working with new age companies   - Ability to work across cultures (ASEAN predominantly)  - Can demonstrate competency in strategic planning  - Outstanding managerial, organizational and leadership ability  - Confident, Resilient and Determined approach  - Exceptional people skills, good research, and problem-solving skills   - Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task  - High-level skills of using Microsoft office packages
