Head - Design

1. Manage and control design, up-gradation and provide error free solutions within the specified time limits including detailed engineering and documentations.

2. To streamline all assemblies all assembly drawings and minimize no. of effective assemblies by way of standardization on continuous basis keeping in mind reduction in overall inventory level.

3. Lead, recruit, train, mentor, and motivate design and engineering team through fostering knowledge, competencies and skills.

4. Control and monitor timely preparation and/or up-gradation/modification and approval of bought out specifications and proper codification.

5. Delegation of authority and responsibilities to team members on various projects and assignments with specified time lines to achieve specified quality and delivery of the projects to meet customer's requirement and organizational goals.

6. Ensure design change if required on basis of feedback received from Service, Marketing, manufacturing or any other user of design output.

7. Prepare Design development plan and work assignment plan and to allot the work to concerned engineer for timely completion of assigned work as per production schedule.

8. Ensure smooth coordination with materials, manufacturing and marketing department.

9 Ensure costing of Manufacturing order, comparison with actual cost and variance analysis to each project.
