Job description
The social media person will be responsible for managing day to day activities and campaigns across social media networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest. His/her focus will be to execute and manage social media programs from research, planning, execution, optimization, and reporting.
The person must have a strong passion for social media and a desire to try new and innovative content across the social media.
Roles & responsibilities
Social media program :
- Manage social media day to day activities
- Create the social media strategy
- Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar and posting schedule
- Write editorial content
- Seed content into social networks
- Manage presence in social networking sites
- Engage in conversations and answer questions
- Build a brand ambassador network
- Monitor the activities of main competitors in social media
- Monitor social space for brand and related topics and conversations
Social media campaign :
- Plan and manage social media campaigns
- Create budgets for social media campaigns
- Manage a blogger outreach program
- Post and comment on relevant blogs
Reporting
- Analyze and evaluate the social media programs and campaigns
- Develop benchmark metrics to measure the results of social media programs and campaigns
- Report on effectiveness of the programs and campaigns
