JD for PHP Project Manager

Role & Responsibility

1. Understanding and implementing of project management practices -Managing and delivery of projects from conceptualization, visualization to technology mapping and final execution of projects

2. Client interaction from estimation to closure level, including functional and technical discussion with overseas client and their team.

3. Day to day work allocation, work plan , project scheduling, efforts & Estimation, overrun control, Bench management, Training management.

4. Active participation with management about the technological shifts/ changes and involving in planning process to grow the team.

5. Monitoring development activities and reporting project progress - Managing, mentoring and providing technical guidance/support to project teams -Liaison with project team and delivering projects as per scheduled milestones (risk/quality/time) -Review/Improve upon current processes/methodologies. -Improve the technical competence of the team through training & development of existing and new team members.

6. Proven experience in managing team of 15-20 People. Capable to Manage Escalation on mid to large size of project.

7. Work closely with Sales Team for Estimation of Projects

Technical Parameters

1. Minimum of 8-10 years of total work experience including 6+years of relevant software development experience in reputed IT organizations. At least 3+ years of product management experience.

2. Proven experience in planning, execution and implementation of high quality software projects.

3. Strong object oriented concepts and knowledge of design patterns.

4. Solid understanding of PHP5, JavaScript Frameworks, AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3.

5. Expertise in software development with MVC Frameworks like CakePHP or Zend.

6. Well versed with RDBMS with hands on experience in MySQL.

7. Extremely good communications and interpersonal skills.

8. Knowledge of Scrum and Agile development practices.

9. Extensive experience in product design, requirements analysis, SaaS.

10. Experience of handling multiple projects and team of multiple developers.

11. Experience in project estimation, team member performance evaluation, organization building activities.

12. Ability to keep team motivation to perform better. Strong people management skills and ability to lead with example.
