QuEST Global Services - Global Financial Controller

POSITION TITLE : Global Controller

LOCATION : Bangalore, India

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Global Controller, you will be responsible for USGAAP consolidated financials as well as standalone entities in respective GAAPs, Technical accounting, Integration of Acquired entities, Shared Services centre comprising P2P, O2C, Payroll, Finance IT, Treasury & SEC filings. To ensure Company's policies, procedures and practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements related to your role.

Regulatory/Legal

Overall Accounting strategy and reporting

- Set the overall strategy of the organization regarding accounting policies, technical accounting, IT tools, financial operations and Treasury

- Provide the Audit Committee, CFO and management, as applicable, with professional advice/analyses, tailored to the Company's needs wrt financial policies, regulatory impact, PPAs, ESOPs and Sox certifications.

Controllership

- Quarterly & Annual audit of Consolidated US GAAP financials and monthly financial reporting

- Standalone audited financials for all standalone entities globally, currently 35+

- Presentation to Audit committee of key accounting policy changes, accounting issues and balance-sheet/cash flow analytics

- Timely financial statement preparation for regulatory and tax filings globally

- Liaise with industry bodies, working through body to comment on changes to regulatory environment; evaluate and work to influence

- Identify training needs relating to accounting compliance and controllership

Technical Accounting

- Accounting standard changes as well as financial disclosures and notes to account

- Accounting papers for unique accounting treatment, new deals, M&A, etc

- Advise Large deal team on structuring for revenue recognition and P&L impact

- SEC filings

- QuEST accounting manual

IT Tools

- Finance Technology strategy for speed, compliance and accuracy

- IT tools implementation, Automation and RPA

Shared Services Center

Responsible for SSC which comprises

- P2P (Procure to Pay)

- O2C (Order to Cash)

- Employee reimbursement

- Payroll

Speed, Accuracy, Scalability and timeliness of these operations

Treasury

Responsible for Treasury strategy which comprises

- Foreign exchange strategy

- Borrowing strategy

- Global Cash management

- Corporate Banking relationship

M&A

- Strategize on timely and first time right integration of acquired entities for smooth assimilation into QuEST ERP and accounting team

- PPA and valuation

ROLE EXPETATIONS:

- Proven and minimum of 20 years of Controllership in technology services industry

- Engagement with Big 4 on completion of statutory Audits

- Proven success in a leadership role within a public company environment and extensive experience representing public companies

- Overall broad accounting and treasury knowledge with excellent exposure to global business

- Ability to develop accounting strategy and objectives with consideration of business perspective

- Well-versed in how businesses operate, with strong financial acumen

- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas

- Excellent judgment and analytical skills

- First class interpersonal and communication skills
