Job Title: Channel Account Manager

Location: Mumbai / India remote

The Channel Account Manager (CAM) role sits within the Quest Partner team and organisation reporting to the India Country Manager.

The CAM is required to manage Channel Partners, Distributors and Alliances across India.

Channel Account Manager represents the Quest Partner team and sits within our sales organization. They are absolutely focused on the success of the sales teams and the achievement of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Sales Budget. The Partner teams will have quotas associated with the roles they undertake and the Partners they are accountable for. Ultimately, the Partner team has one major Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and that is bookings versus the AOP and within that, what was the contribution coming from our Partners, measured by Channel Sourced and Channel Influenced business.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

This role is a combination of a Partner and Distributor development role and includes sales.

- Work closely with Quest Partners and Distributors to sell Quest products to customers

- Recruit and enable new Partners

- Educate Partners & customers Partners on Quest solution

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to close sales opportunities with Partners

- Identify and create Initiatives and campaigns to drive growth and improve Channel sourced opportunities

- Maintain high levels of customer and Partner, and Distributor satisfaction and trust

- Distributor Territory and Partner Account planning, incl. Pipeline / sales forecasting

- Working closely with India Sales Team

Qualification:

- Around 8+ years' experience

- Proven Channel and Partner development experience within the Software industry

- Successful software sales experience

- Strong channel engagement experience - at all levels

- Experience with Managed service provider (MSP) program management will be added advantage

- Experience in working with and engaging senior business-people

- Effective presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills

- Ability to engage strategically with Distributors and Partners to create large software transactions

- Ability to engage with new partners on a business level to convince them to invest in building a Quest software competency, and supporting the partner's growth

- Proven success in previous roles and ability to articulate reasons for success and strategies adopted

- Candidates could either have worked at technology vendors, IT distributors, systems integrators

- Good IT industry relationship and networks
