Quantitative Researcher - Quantitative Asset Management Firm

Our client a leading international Quantitative Asset management firm is looking to hire Quantitative researchers for their office in Mumbai.

They are mathematics, computer science, physics and engineering majors for a quantitative researcher position. Candidates do not need any prior knowledge of financial markets, but must have a strong interest in learning about stock markets and financial markets. Our highly accomplished senior staff will provide the new hires with mentoring and guidance to help them succeed.

Job Qualifications:

- Degree from a leading university (Ph.D. or M.Sc. preferred, but B.Sc. graduates with honors acceptable) in a highly analytical quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Financial Engineering or related

- Ranked as top 20% in class for bachelor's degree

- Have a research scientist mind-set, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a self-starter

- Be competent in a programming language (Python, C++ or similar)

- Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets

- Possess good English language skills

- Exhibit a strong work ethic
